The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced that its Jewelry Career Fair will return to New York City on Monday, July 25. At this free event, dozens of gem and jewellery companies will be on the lookout to hire skilled and motivated professionals at every career stage.

The fair—which is open to the public—is expected to draw crowds similar to those of last year’s event, which attracted recruiters from 48 different companies and more than 600 job seekers. In addition to these hiring opportunities, there will be one-on-one career coaching with some of the industry’s biggest names.

Susan Jacques, president and CEO of GIA, will moderate the opening panel “Job Success in Today’s Market.” The panel of industry leaders will include Rahul Kadakia, international head of jewelry for Christie’s; Steven Lagos, founder and chief creative director for LAGOS; Natalie Tjaden of Jewelry Television and Yancy Weinrich, senior vice-president of JCK.

This event will take place from 8 AM to 1 PM at the Javits Center. For more information or to sign up as a recruiter or an attendee, visit the GIA’s website here.
