Baume & Mercier was honoUred to celebrate women entrepreneurs across Canada by sponsoring the 23rd Annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award Gala presented by Women of Influence. This year’s event took place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Canada, hosted by celebrity entrepreneur and co-host of Entertainment Tonight Canada, Cheryl Hickey. This prestigious national awards program celebrated the achievements of over 120 successful women recognized for demonstrating excellence—from economic growth to social change, from local to global reach, across multiple sectors.
As the sponsor this year, Baume & Mercier presented the award winners with a Promesse 10178 from Baume & Mercier’s Promesse collection. This year’s winners were announced at the gala last night; Sharon Vinderine, Founder & CEO of PTPA Media won the Micro-Business Award; Dr. Wendy McClelland, Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Vets to Go won the Deloitte Start-Ip Award; Allison Grafton, President, Rockwood Custom Homes won the RBC Momentum Award; Marcia Nozick, Founder & CEO, EMBERS won the TPH (The Printing House) Charitable Giving Award; Janice Larocque, President, Spirit Staffing and Consulting, Inc. won the Telus Trailblazer Award; and Ann Kaplan, President & CEO, iFinance Canada Inc. won the Profit Magazine Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award.
