Birks Group Inc., a leading Canadian retailer of fine jewellery and timepieces, has unveiled its new 4,174 square foot Maison Birks store in Calgary’s luxury CF Chinook Centre.
Developed by Optima Design, the store features rich, dark wood tones, high ceilings, and innovative lighting that showcases its offerings of high-end brands like Balmain, Birks, Breitling, Cartier, Qeelin, TAG Heuer, Tudor, and Wolf. In addition, the store includes a 1,117 square foot Rolex showroom with a VIP area, and will soon feature shop-in-shops for Chaumet fine jewellery and Longines watches.
The store also has an 803 square foot shop-in-shop dedicated to Birks’ own brand of fine jewellery, engagement rings, and wedding bands, which celebrates the brand’s heritage and commitment to Canadian nature and landscape through light, warm wood tones.
According to Jean-Christophe Bédos, President and CEO of Birks Group, the relocation and expansion of the Maison Birks CF Chinook Centre store marks an exciting new chapter for the company, which has been serving the Calgary market for 63 years. He is thrilled to welcome clients to the new Rolex showroom and to continue enhancing the shopping experience for Calgary customers.
Birks Group Inc. is also renovating its Maison Birks store at CF Carrefour Laval, with plans to unveil the upgrades later this year.
