TAG Heuer President and CEO Stéphane Linder has resigned while the company put out a statement saying that, “Stéphane Linder has decided today to resign from his role of President & CEO of TAG Heuer to pursue other professional endeavours. Jean-Claude Biver thanks Stéphane for his outstanding contribution to the development of the brand during the 21 years he spent at TAG Heuer.”

In the meantime, Jean-Claude Biver, LVMH’s watch division head, will be acting as interim CEO.
Linder served in his last role for 18 months after working at TAG for 21 years. He was promoted to CEO of TAG to replace Jean-Christophe Babin who moved on to Bulgari. Last September, TAG Heuer cut 46 management and production jobs and designated about 49 employees to ‘partial employment.’
