New technology to achieve accurate colour grading of diamonds

ImaGem has announced a breakthrough in colour grading of diamonds with a new technology to achieve accurate grading of diamonds with a secondary hue. This new technology was made possible by Dr. Lalit K. Aggarwal, who has been working on it for the past 20 years.

ImaGem has a new integrated diamond grading machine called GL3200 that grades diamonds with secondary hues like brown and gray, two-toned diamonds, and coloured diamonds. The GL3200’s footprint is 12 to 24 inches, with the ability to grade 2400 diamonds per month. The entire grading process is automated. It grades colour, fluorescence, light behavior, proportion analysis, symmetry and alignment for round and fancy shapes. CJ
