Register today for the CIBJO Congress 2015 taking place on May 4 to 6 at the Sheraton da Bahia Hotel in Salvador, Bahia. For the first time in South America, the CIBJO Congress 2015 will be hosted by Instituto Brasileiro de Gemas e Metais Preciosos (IBGM).
According to the CIBJO website, “Describing itself as the “United Nations of the jewellery business,” CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, represents the interests of all individuals, organisations and companies earning their livelihoods from jewellery, gemstones and precious metals. It is the oldest international organization in jewellery sector, having originally been established in 1926.”
Delegates from around the world are welcome to attend the 2015 CIBJO Congress, with pre-congress meetings starting on May 2.
The CIBJO Congress will serve as the official gathering point for the World Jewellery Confederation’s Assembly of Delegates, and also the venue for the annual meetings of CIBJO’s sectoral commissions.
The CIBJO Congress is also where the programme of World Jewellery Confederation Education Foundation (WJCEF) and CIBJO’s ongoing cooperation with the United Nations is reported.
