Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest diamond jewelry retailer, has made its largest-ever donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They contributed nearly $8.2 million in 2022 to the hospital. This brings Signet’s total support for St. Jude to almost $97 million over the past 24 years. Signet raised funds through plush toy sales, customer donations, marathon sponsorship, and personal donations from team members.

Virginia C. Drosos, CEO of Signet Jewelers, expressed her pride in fulfilling the funding for the hospital’s $50 million KAY Research & Care Center three years ahead of schedule. The center focuses on scientific research, education, patient care, and treatment for pediatric diseases.

Richard C. Shadyac Jr., President and CEO of ALSAC, lauded Signet’s generosity, which has helped St. Jude provide world-class care to patients while also developing cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Signet’s 2030 sustainability goals align with its Three Loves: Love for All People, Love for Our Team, and Love for Our Planet and Products. The company has funded various St. Jude facilities, such as the KAY Kafe and KAY Family Porch, and sponsored the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital & Washington University Pediatric Cancer Genome Project. In 2022, Signet was honored with St. Jude’s Partner of the Year Award.

Signet’s 26,000 North American team members promote St. Jude’s mission, while customers contribute through purchases and donations. Support from Signet ensures that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Since 1962, St. Jude’s treatments have raised the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to over 80%.
