Actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie Pitt has gifted an incredible piece from Robert Procop’s Style of Jolie jewellery line to the Smithsonian Museum’s National Gem Collection. The stunning 18-karat gold necklace features 64 graduated-in-size and bezel-set cushion-cut citrines and a 177.11-carat pear-shape citrine drop.
The Style of Jolie collection, to which this piece belongs, was developed by Jolie Pitt in an effort to promote education and establish schools in conflict-affected countries. Proceeds from each purchase are given to the Education Partnership for Children in Conflict, which builds schools for children around the world.
The Jolie Citrine Necklace went on permanent display in the Janet Annenberg Hall of Geology, Gems and Minerals on December 11. CJ
