Every April, jewellers arrive at the show with open order books and a short list of suppliers they need to see. For 2027, they also get to choose the city. The April 2027 jewellery trade show will take place either in Toronto or in Niagara Falls. The people who buy and sell at it will make the call.
Voting is open now and closes on Thursday, October 22, 2026. One vote per store, and every jewellery business that votes goes into a draw for one of five complimentary stays, hotel and meals included.

April 2027 jewellery show: two settings, one goal
Toronto is the familiar choice for good reason. It is where the April show found its rhythm. It sits within a day’s drive of most Ontario stores, and suppliers know how to work the room there. Keeping April in Toronto means continuity, shorter travel and a show that builds on everything it has already become.
Niagara Falls offers something different. Instead of a buying trip squeezed between store hours, it becomes a destination. Orders happen on the floor by day. After hours come live entertainment, dinners overlooking the falls and wine country minutes away. The plan for registered jewellers includes a preferred hotel rate, an opening night reception and reserved seats for a show night.
Either way, the purpose stays the same. Both options aim to raise the level of the Canadian jewellery marketplace and keep orders, relationships and business in Canada.
What the choice means for your buying trip
For a store owner, the city changes the shape of the trip more than the purpose of it. A Toronto edition fits into a single day away from the counter. That matters when staff are stretched before Mother’s Day and graduation season. A Niagara Falls edition asks for an overnight stay. In return, owners can bring a manager or a top salesperson and turn the show into a thank you as much as a work day.
Suppliers will feel the difference too. A destination format tends to keep buyers around longer. That means more time for appointments, follow ups and the conversations that rarely happen on a rushed show floor. For that reason, the vote matters: the right answer depends on how your store actually buys.

Five Jewellery businesses that vote by Thursday, October 22 will win a complimentary hotel stay with meals. The stay takes place during the April 2027 show, in whichever city the trade picks.
