Big, bright days ahead for Sarine Technologies

Big things are happening for Sarine Technologies Ltd., as it has been announced that the company will be opening its second Sarine Technologies laboratory in Mumbai, India, as well as Japanese jewelry company K-Uno will be the first retailer in the world to adopt the new Sarine 4Cs diamond report.

“The Mumbai lab’s opening is a critical step. It will enable us to provide an efficient, local solution for our high-volume retail customers, by certifying their diamonds immediately after they are polished,” said David Block, CEO of the Sarine Group. “This will allow the majority of retailers, who buy diamonds directly from Indian suppliers, to benefit from our ground-breaking digital reports.”

The Sarine Technologies lab offers reports covering the broadest range of diamond information available in the market today. This includes AI-based automated 4Cs grading, diamond authentication, treatments verification, light performance, the Sarine Diamond Journey rough to polish documentation, advanced interactive diamond imaging, and more.

K-Uno, a leader in Japan’s jewelry retail market that is known for its innovation, made the announcement in mid-April at the companuy’s flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo, that it would be adopting Sarine’s 4Cs grading reports. It is now being rolled out to all K-Uno stores across the country.

“In addition to delivering the most reliable, advanced AI-based diamond grading, our 4Cs report also creates an intuitive digital experience that will help engage K-Uno customers throughout the diamond purchase journey,” stated David Block, CEO of Sarine Technologies.

K-Uno mentioned that the primary advantages of the Sarine report are its improved accuracy of grading, compared to manual grading labs, and the ability to view the grading reports in an interactive way on mobile phones and other devices.

“We are delighted to be strengthening our collaboration with K-Uno, and to bring the world’s leading AI-driven technology to the in-store diamond jewelry experience. We expect additional retailers in the Asia Pacific region to soon be adopting the new Sarine Profile 4Cs reports,” said Block.

The Sarine Profile 4Cs Report adds the 4Cs parameters to the other parameters of the Sarine Profile report, such as light performance analysis, hearts, arrows and other various visualizations and information. The key difference of the Sarine 4Cs report compared to any other lab, is the fact that clarity and colour are both graded with the very latest AI-based technologies, using Sarine’s ground-breaking automated Sarine Clarity and Sarine Colour grading systems.

“In today’s evolving retail environment, diamond manufacturers and sellers must focus on enhancing the consumer experience and raising consumer confidence in the quality of their diamonds. Sarine is delighted to be at the forefront of this developing practice in the diamond industry,” Block concluded.
