Crimes Against the Jewellery Industry: Hardening the Target!

Since January of this year, crimes against the jewellery industry have accelerated at an alarming rate. This is particularly true in the Greater Toronto Area and especially serious crime such as Armed Robberies, Breaking & Entering, and Distraction Thefts. In response to this heightened level of crime, the Canadian Jewellers Association in partnership with Jewelers Mutual Insurance and Toronto Police Services are sponsoring a seminar entitled “Hardening the Target”*.
