Toronto-based jeweller Foxy Originals has announced the release of a limited-edition necklace in support of those touched by the Fort McMurray fires. All of the proceeds from their “Alberta Strong” campaign will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross, which will help to provide relief to those affected.
Foxy Originals has a large customer base in Alberta, making this issue one of top priority. “As a proudly Canadian company, this initiative is close to our hearts,” says a post on the company website. “We hope that through this campaign, we’ll be able to give back to the community in a big way and contribute to the Canadian Red Cross’ efforts to provide emergency food, clothing, and shelter.”
