Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus unite for the third annual Bejeweled Ball in Miami.

Rival luxury retailers unite at Faena for an immersive, appointment-only high-jewellery showcase

Rival luxury titans co-host an intimate, high-jewellery showcase at Faena, featuring exclusives from Boucheron, Chopard, Etho Maria, Pomellato, Siegelson and Yeprem

Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus co-hosted the third annual Bejeweled Ball in Miami, the first time the two retailers formally joined forces to celebrate high jewellery and rare timepieces. Staged at the Faena Hotel in an immersive private-shopping format, the evening blended old-world tropical glamour with an ultra-curated presentation of one-of-a-kind pieces and limited masterworks.

“Nearly half of the pieces showcased this evening are exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus for this experience,” said Tatiana Birkelund, SVP, Brand Partnerships & Buying Lead (Beauty, Jewellery, Gifts & Home) for both retailers—underscoring a joint strategy to deliver access that clients can discover nowhere else.

Inside Faena’s Forum, maisons created their own environments for invitation-only appointments:

  • Boucheron brought icons across Quatre, Serpent Bohème, Flèche, Lisere, Animaux and Plume de Paon, alongside three high-jewellery statements including the Question Mark necklace.
  • Chopard presented Red Carpet, Ice Cube, Happy Diamonds, Alpine Eagle and L.U.C, headlined by the Ice Cube Secret Watch—gold and diamond-set cubes concealing a dial, representing more than 800 hours of craftsmanship.
  • Etho Maria highlighted Reflexion, Luxe, Bond, Waterfall and Diamond High Jewellery, plus titanium-and-gold innovations and pavé pink with fancy-shape white diamonds.
  • Pomellato showcased Ode to Milan and Dualism of Milan, including the Indigolite Blue Suite with over 2,000 stones, crafted in rose gold and diamonds.
  • Siegelson assembled 75 masterworks of 20th-century jewellery and objets, curated for artistry, rarity and provenance.
  • Yeprem exhibited Y-Conic, Y-Not, Golden Strada, Pearlescent, Leathership, Reign Supreme, Y-Couture, Queenship and Y-Momento; highlights included La Rose de Minuit with 665 diamonds.

The Bejeweled Ball extends the legacy of the award-winning Bejeweled Book while signalling a modern, collaborative approach to luxury retail experiences. For Canadian retailers tracking global demand, the event is a timely barometer: exclusive capsules, editorial-level storytelling and concierge-style selling continue to pull top clientele into highly controlled, conversion-rich environments. Expect appointment-driven formats to gain ground as maisons pursue higher average selling prices and tighter distribution.

Held amid lush palms, sculptural florals and vintage botanical details, the gala’s atmosphere reinforced the evening’s focus on tactile beauty and timeless sophistication, with live music and a menu tailored to the setting’s vibrant elegance. Leaders from each participating maison mingled with top clientele and collectors from across the United States.
