Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th will be entering the Canadian market next year, with its first outlet set to open at Tanger Outlets in Kanata, Ottawa. The stores, which are owned by Hudson’s Bay Co., sell luxury brands at up to 70 per cent off their original retail price.
Each store will carry up to 800 luxury designer brands for men, women and children, including the likes of Diane Von Furstenburg, 7 For All Mankind, and Burberry. “Customers will always be able to experience the thrill of the hunt [here],” says Jonathan Greller, president of outlets at HBC. “Saks Off 5th will be the destination for Canadians looking for designer fashion at amazing prices.”
With 70 discount stores already located across the U.S., the company expects to open 25 locations in Canada. The first will open in the spring of 2016 in Ottawa, and will be followed by two other locations in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Vaughan. CJ
