GV Canada Inc. has launched the latest iteration of its award-winning Matrix design software: Matrix 9.0.
For over 16 years, users of the GemVision/Stuller software have been able to push the creative limits of computerized jewellery design. Now, Matrix 9.0 will offer them the full integration of Clayoo 2.5, as well as many new time-saving tools, allowing for an even more user-friendly experience.
“Matrix is the industry’s oldest jewellery-specific design software. Its speed, its ease of use, and its builders are unlike any other product on the market, allowing jewellers to create quick, detailed, and easy designs for their clients,” says Graham Arthur, FCGmA, RMV, president of GV Canada.
Gemvision’s approach to jewellery design software is different, offering designers the tools and knowledge to innovate and improve virtually every aspect of their custom jewellery businesses. GV Canada also offers a variety of training options, allowing for a better understanding of the Matrix software.
Matrix provides jewelry-specific and jeweller-friendly tools to design virtual, photorealistic 3D jewellery. It combines the raw CAD power of Rhino 3D, the organic modeling of Clayoo 2.5, the stunning render images of V-Ray, and its own proprietary technology to create the ultimate 3D jewellery creation tool. Matrix then outputs common file formats for CAM output on any rapid prototyping machine.
“The new launch includes a number of new tools, including surface mapping for textures, a pattern-building option, as well as improved renderings,” adds Arthur. “It also includes a tool that allows custom jewellers to send links of their designs to their customers. From home, consumers can view a 3D model of their piece, as well as scroll through different options for metal and gem colours.”
GV Canada can be contacted directly for promotional offers for new users. What’s more, adds Arthur, there are promotional upgrade rates for users running matrix 7.5 or earlier until June 30th, 2017.
