Tiffany & Co. has appointed Roger Farah as its new chairman, with an effective starting date beginning October 2, 2017.
Along with establishing himself as the co-CEO of Tory Burch in 2014, Farah was stationed as a Ralph Lauren board member for 14 years, beginning in 2000, and also held the position of president and COO until 2013.
In March of 2017, Farah joined Tiffany & Co during its partnership with JANA Partners, while Michael Kowalski, Tiffany’s former CEO, declared that he was moving on from the position.
Likewise, as Farah takes on the chairman position next month, Kowalski will also step down from the interim CEO in October, in which Alessandro Bogliolo will stand in as his replacement.
“With the appointment of Alessandro as our new CEO, and under Roger’s leadership on the board, I believe we are well positioned to execute on strategies to drive comparable-store-sales growth and stronger earnings growth in the longer term,” explains Kowalski.
