CJA president steps down

On September 9, David Ritter, the president and CEO of the Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) left his position at the organization.

Prior to his work with the CJA, Ritter was a senior partner at JDR Consulting Services, where he predominantly did contract work for publishing and media companies. He has been the CEO of the CJA since March of 2010.

“[Ritter] has been a strong voice for both the retail and supply members of the jewellery industry,” said CJA Chair Darren Dubrovsky in an email release. “Through his many accomplishments, David has provided leadership to our organization and built a strong foundation upon which the Association can continue to change and expand.”
