Three charged in Corner Brook jewellery theft

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has arrested and charged three people with stealing jewellery from Alteen’s Jewellery in Corner Brook.

 

The theft occurred last Friday at around 11am. At the time, police released a picture of the suspects, described them as being in their early 20s.

 

By Friday afternoon, Corner Brook RNC arrested two 22-year-old men from Ontario and a 16-year-old male from Quebec in relation to the crime. All three perpetrators have been charged with theft over $5,000, and are being held in custody to appear in provincial court at an unspecified date.
