It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Marchand, André (1936 – 2020)
On March 3rd, 2020, he passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife Agathe Lamontagne and their children.
Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his children Marie-Nicole (Alain Cousineau), Jean (Danielle Archambault) and Martin (Cathy Thériault), her grandchildren Ian, Gabriel, Sarah,
Amélie, Mélina and Magalie, her great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters Pierre (Liliane), the late Colette (Frank), the late Guy (Lise), the late Gisèle (Maurice), the late Denise (Jean) and the late Jacques (Pauline).
Also his brothers in law and sisters in law Lamontagne: Michel (Céline), Noëlline (Lionel), Monique (Stephen), Claude (Suzanne) and Jacynthe (Christian), and other relatives and friends.
André Marchand was a businessman, Jeweller and co-founder of Bijouterie André and Jean Marchand in Chomedey Laval. He is the former president of the Quebec Jewellers Corporation and co-founder of the UNICO Group and Groupe Gemme,
André Marchand will be honoured at an exhibition to be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 3.30 p.m. followed by a ceremony at 7 p.m.
