Although residents have spoken out against it, a proposed plaza development in Streetsville has been given the green light by the Ontario Municipal Board.
The 113,000 square-foot area, including four two-storey commercial buildings, is set to be built on Mississauga Road, adjacent to Erin Centre Boulevard, in Streetsville, which is an established community located in the northwestern corner of the city of Mississauga, Ontario.
Residents are concerned over traffic and congestion since Mississauga Road has experienced increased congestion for many years now.
Many of the locals turned out to City Hall back in March for a planning and development committee meeting regarding the proposal for 5267 Mississauga Rd.
