According to Retail Insider sources, Lao Feng Xiang, a large Chinese jewellery corporation, will be opening its first Canadian location in Vancouver. The new store is set to be located on Alberni Street in what is deemed a “luxury district,” which also houses names like Jaeger-LeCoultre, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Montblanc, Gucci, De Beers, Escada, and Burberry.
Lao Feng Xiang was founded in 1848 and has been in business for over 160 years, retailing gold, silver, diamonds, jade and pearls. The company operates 2,700 locations around the world with more coming soon to Canada. CJ
