Pandora is collaborating with Disney to bring a collection of charms to Disney parks, to be launched on November 1. The charms will be sterling silver with a flush-set cubic zirconia, 25 in total available at Pandora stores. 16 additional pieces will be available exclusively at Disney parks, Disney cruise ships, and Disney’s Hawaiian resort Aulani. The charms will also be available at Disney stores online. The 10-year partnership between the two companies was announced back in August.
JCK has reported that charms from the collection feature Disney motifs like Mickey Mouse ears and Minnie Mouse’s white and red polka dots.
“More than 50 percent of Disney’s sales are coming from adults, especially in the jewelry category. All of the feedback and buzz since the announcement has been from adults.”
“They’ve been amazing partners to work with,” Liz Strohen, Pandora’s vice president of merchandise and planning, told JCK. “The process has been highly collaborative, and the amount of design inspiration we’ve been able to see, the source materials our designers have had access to, has been phenomenal.” CJ
