Gold price rises following last week

Gold prices increased steadily in the bullion market on Monday following fresh buys from jewellery traders and retailers. Prices of industrial metals and silver followed due to a heavy demand industrially.

Standard gold of 99.5 purity rec went from Rs 155 to Rs 28,185 per 10 grams as opposed to last Saturday’s Rs 28,030.

Pure gold of 99.9 purity rose to Rs 28,355 per 10 grams from Rs 28,180. Moreover, silver of .999 fineness increased Rs 350 and finished at Rs 45,870 per kg. The number was Rs 45,520 last week. Spot gold was nearly flat with USD 1,311.64 an ounce. CJ
