As a result of the increasing demand for wearable techonogy, including smartwatches, Movado Group has hired a former Apple executive Jo An Lawson as its first ever general manager of wearables devices.
Lawson previously worked with Apple as director of global retail marketing and brand experience.
Based in San Francisco, based Lawson’s new role entails identifying opportunities for Movado in the technology market and developing alliances that will allow the company to launch wearable products in balance with its luxury branding. CJ
