Stuller Promotes Taylor Burgess to Chief Merchandising, Marketing and Sales Officer

A leadership expansion that brings product strategy, marketing, sales and customisation into one executive lane for jewellers.

Stuller has promoted Taylor Burgess to Chief Merchandising, Marketing and Sales Officer, expanding her leadership scope across merchandising, marketing, sales and the company’s customization teams. In the expanded role, Burgess will lead these groups while supporting Stuller’s ongoing focus on serving jewellers across the full lifecycle of their business—from product selection and trend alignment to sales enablement and custom work support.

A leadership move aimed at speed, alignment and retailer outcomes

In today’s jewellery market, retail needs are shifting quickly: assortments must be refreshed more often, bestsellers must stay in stock, and customization continues to be a key driver of differentiation and margin. When merchandising, marketing and sales are tightly aligned under one executive leader, the intended outcome is typically clearer: fewer disconnects between what’s being promoted, what’s being stocked, and what retailers can realistically deliver in-store.

For jewellers, that kind of alignment can translate into more cohesive product stories, more consistent sell-through support, and quicker responses to feedback from the sales floor.

Burgess’ path from fashion retail to jewellery leadership

Burgess joined Stuller in 2013 after more than a decade in the retail fashion apparel sector, with experience at Nordstrom and JCPenney. Since entering the jewellery industry, she has been closely involved in shaping merchandising direction and customer-focused strategies—work that, over time, helped strengthen relationships across the trade and inform how Stuller adapts to retailer demand.

That combination of fashion retail discipline and jewellery industry experience positions her to bridge two worlds that increasingly overlap: trend-driven product planning and operational execution.

CEO Danny Clark on why this promotion matters

In announcing the promotion, Stuller CEO Danny Clark emphasized Burgess’ ability to turn industry feedback into timely business strategies and highlighted her leadership style as service-oriented. He also noted confidence that she will continue finding new ways to add value not only to Stuller’s customers, but also to vendor partners and internal teams.

Industry involvement and community commitment

Burgess has remained active in industry circles, including previous service on the international board of the Women’s Jewelry Association. She is also a member of the 24 Karat Club of New York.

Outside the trade, she is involved in her Lafayette, Louisiana community, supporting local organizations, including Miles Perret Cancer Services. She and her husband are raising two sons, and the family enjoys travelling together.
