Following the release of new information from The Fancy Color Research Foundation (FCRF), brands are beginning to equip their leading stores with access to the foundation’s valuable data.
Launching last year, the foundation was established after feedback from retailers that have historically faced challenges in valuing and trading in fancy colour diamonds.
The membership includes:
· Full access to the breadth of research data and analysis that the Foundation has collated over the past decade
· The Index, developed by the Foundation from proprietary access to tens of thousands of fancy color diamond transactions since 2005 that will continue to be updated on a quarterly basis
· Real-time updates on auction results, analysis of sales and educational tools released by the Foundation
· Publications such as the Fancy Color Diamond book, an upcoming publication on valuing fancy color diamonds and additional online tools
Going forward, the foundation, an independent, non-profit organization, hopes to increase consumer demand and retail understanding of fancy colour diamonds. CJ
