The two shows, both organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), boast over 4,300 exhibitors from 52 countries and regions. This year marks the 32nd edition of the Jewellery Show and the 2nd edition of the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show.
The Jewellery Show will feature group pavilions representing the Chinese mainland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand, alongside those from Germany, Israel, Italy, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the U.S. There will also be quite a number of designs inspired by the beauty of nature as well as the brand new Treasures of Craftsmanship zone, which will provide the setting for decorative carvings of gold, silver and precious gems.
The other seven zones returning to the show this year include the Hall of Extraordinary – a display of prestigious fine jewels. The Hall of Fame will showcase more than 40 leading international brands while the Antique & Jewellery Galleria is the spot for vintage pieces by 89 exhibitors.
The show will also include daily seminars such as “Achieving Global Success in Jewellery E-tailing Market”, “Jewellery Appraisal and Gemstone Standards: Integrity, Authenticity and Consumer Confidence”, “Progress in Diamond Treatments, Synthetics and the Challenges in Identification” and “A Year in the Field through the Lens of a Gemologist.” CJ
