JewelPop recently announced the appointment of Brenda Wilson as President of JewelPop. Wilson comes to JewelPop with the acumen of her 25-plus year career in retail marketing and product development with such companies as Avon, Laura Canada, Birks & Mayors and others.
“I am excited to be joining the JewelPop team and the Lynx family of companies,” she says. “I look forward to strengthening the company’s market position by creating strategic clarity and driving innovation and sales growth.”
Wilson was most recently Vice President, Product Development and Marketing for Northern International Inc. She will be relocating to Halifax from Montreal to assume her new responsibilities.
Wilson will be taking over the President’s role from Bob Smith, who founded JewelPop in 2007 and built it to its current successful position. Smith was the inspiration behind the unique patented interchangeable jewellery design, Kameleon. Smith will gradually be relinquishing his responsibilities as Wilson takes up her duties.
JewelPop is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lynx Equity Limited, which acquired JewelPop in 2013.
