Dunhill Ltd announced new management appointments in strategic markets together with North American and Middle Eastern expansion plans.
The expansion will see new openings in Vancouver in Fall 2018 and an expanded retail store at the Dubai Mall that will include a barber and Alfie’s café. These expansions are following the recent launch of the new retail concept at Beijing’s SKP and the planned restructuring of the Ginza flagship.
Mathieu Kraut has joined as the brand president of the Americas, from Gucci; here he managed specialty retail division. Kraut’s primary focus will be on building the Dunhill business in the Americas. He plans on doing this through targeted retail expansion in select cities and will further develop wholesale partnerships in the U.S. and Canada.
Georges Barakat will join as brand director for MEITAR (Middle East, India, Turkey, and Russia). Barakat was the regional director of MENA (Middle East and North America) for Samsung. He will be expanding the brand’s presence in the Middle East and help explore new business opportunities in the new markets for Dunhill London.
As part of an ongoing client experience strategy, a new role of global private client manager will act as a luxury concierge and will help linking digital to retail and create a fully interconnected and seamless customer experience.
An in-house store design and architecture director were appointed to further drive the retail expansion and will oversee the rollout of the new store concept and update the retail network globally.
