As Publisher of Canadian Jeweller magazine, I am thrilled to join in celebrating the grand opening of Bogart’s Jewellers’ new location in the Atlantic region. In today’s challenging times, when jewellers choose to expand into new areas, it is not only a bold statement of entrepreneurship but also a reason for the entire jewellery community to celebrate.
We’re not talking about an expansion in Toronto or other major urban centres. This is the launch of a 7,000 square foot store in the heart of Galway at 6 Galway Blvd, St. John’s, Newfoundland—an impressive milestone for a proudly locally owned and operated business. With seven locations across Newfoundland, this brand-new stand-alone store in Galway is a testament to Bogart’s continued growth and commitment to the region and the Canadian Jewellery community.
Store Facts
7,000 square feet total, including a 2,800 square foot storefront and 4,200 square feet of office space.
This new location caters to a vibrant and diverse demographic, representing a mix of residents, professionals, and visitors to the growing community of Galway.
Support for Team Broken Earth
“At Bogart’s Jewellers, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. That’s why we’re proud to announce that $5 from every item sold during our weeklong grand opening event will be donated to Team Broken Earth, a local charity dedicated to sending volunteer medical teams to areas in need around the world. It’s a cause close to our hearts, and we’re excited to see the difference our customers’ support can make for those in need.” A.J Rooney
Introducing the New Casablanca Jewellery Line
As part of the grand opening, Bogart’s unveiled their new Casablanca jewellery line, featuring trendy sterling silver and gold pieces inspired by classic, timeless designs. What makes this line even more special is that Casablanca jewellery is designed locally by the talented team at Bogart’s Jewellers. “We’re incredibly proud of this new collection and can’t wait for our customers to explore these stunning new designs.” A.J Rooney
On behalf of all businesses and jewellers across Canada, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Bogart’s Jewellers. Your new venture is a source of inspiration for us all, demonstrating that growth and success can come from thinking outside the box and embracing new opportunities.
We thank you for setting an example of resilience and leadership, and we look forward to witnessing the continued success of Bogart’s Jewellers in its new home. Congratulations once again from the entire team at Canadian Jeweller!
