Holt Renfrew is in the works to open its first exclusively menswear store at 100 Bloor Street West, the heart of downtown Toronto. The new location will be competing with rival Harry Rosen as well as U.S brands Nordstrom andf Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the area, the latter two set to open in 2016.
The new men’s store will launched an updated Holt Renfrew logo, with the letters HR in a square instead of the traditional circle. An official twitter account has been set up for the store. A men’s lounge called The Lounge will welcome visitors, as well as a black BMW motorcycle and foosball table. A number of complimentary services, such as straight-razor shaves and shoe shines, will be offered.
“The stand-alone men’s shop will be a classic sartorial store and supports our growth plans to further enhance our luxury men’s wear and Holt Renfrew’s presence on Bloor Street — the destination for luxury,” Holt Renfrew President Mark Derbyshire told Women’s Wear Daily. CJ
