The new Nordstrom store in Ottawa is expected to open in March 2015 at the 157,00 square-foot Rideau Centre. Nordstrom will be competing with other luxury stores such as Holt Renfrew and Harry Rosen, as well as La Maison Simons that is expected to open in the same mall the following year. The Nordstrom store in Ottawa will feature the brand’s most expensive departments such as the womenswear department Collectors. Adding to womenswear is footwear, accessories and menswear departments.
The womenswear department features apparel from high-end designers like Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Versace, Lanvin, Armani, among others. The showear department features designers such as Prada, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Miu Miu, Valentino and Gucci. As for accessories, designer handbags by Valentino and Versace will be on the forefront. CJ
