Diamond technology tools company OGI Systems Group has deceloped a new measurement system called Scanox Zoom that measures the symmetry of polished diamonds. Scanox Zoom will be unveiled at the launched at Hong Kong’s Jewelry and Gem Fair 2014. The new measurement system can identify and grade the symmetry of a polished diamond in a unique way that allows the user to captire the facet of a diamond precisely. The process eliminates the use of microscropes in diamond laboratory grading.
Scanox Zoom provides quick and efficient laboratory analysis that provides authenticity of the symmetry analysis taking place. The hardware is compatible with SymCut software that displayes the asymmetrical features so that possible changes can be made to the polishing plan with minimum weight loss. CJ
