This is not just the biggest award of the night. It is the biggest award in Canadian jewellery. Full stop.
The Grand Master is not handed to a company. It is not given for one great year. It goes to the individual who IS the industry — whose personality commands a room, whose salesmanship sets the standard, whose vision has been recognized by media inside and far outside our trade, and whose heart shows up in the community long after the cameras are gone.
This year’s six nominees have each lived that truth:
✦ Sako Krikorian — Designer, creator, and 30-year force of nature recognized by media around the world, with a community spirit as bold as his designs.
✦ Gino DeVuono — Past president of the Canadian Jewellers 24 Karat Club, CJA board director, and one of the most quietly generous contributors to industry fellowship this country has ever seen.
✦ Brett Haliday — Built Michael Hill Canada to 86 stores, won the Retail Council of Canada’s Talent Development Award, and now gives that expertise back to the whole industry.
✦ Haimy Mann — Co-founded CrownRing in 1999 and built one of Canada’s most beloved bridal brands on community values, featured across trade and lifestyle media.
✦ Kevin Vantyghem — Global champion of ethical sourcing and Canadian diamond traceability, carrying the Canadian standard from Kitchener to the world stage.
✦ Anita Agrawal — 2024 Award of Excellence winner. CBC-featured. Premier’s Award nominee. CEO of a 35-year Canadian manufacturer with clients in 20 countries. And she gives back to this country by teaching the next generation of jewellers at Centennial College — shaping the future of the trade from the classroom up.
The Grand Master will be crowned live at Chambers this Sunday, April 2026. The winner takes the front cover of Canadian Jeweller Magazine.
Vote now — today only. One vote. One crown. Make it count.
