We had the pleasure of featuring the graceful Andrea Hopson on the cover of our September/October 2009 issue when she was working as V.P. of Tiffany & Co. for Canada.
We recently got in touch with Andrea and this is what she had to say about her time in the industry since:
“After 21 wonderful years with Tiffany & Co., I have been extending my professional expertise as a consultant to the vibrant Canadian fine jewellery industry. As such, I have joined the Advisory Board at Mindham Fine Jewellery and am actively working with two other impressive jewellers seeking to build on and refine their brand and reach.
While I am delighted to be able to stay connected and contribute to the jewellery industry, since being at Tiffany, I have been focused on plans to open a niche luxury retail bricks and mortar and on-line business in Toronto’s Rosedale neighbourhood. Along with business partner, Martha Grace McKimm, “Hopson Grace” will focus on entertaining with a highly curated merchandise offering of largely exclusive tabletop designs from around the globe. We will extend an elevated customer experience as we encourage Torontonians and Canadians to ‘come back to the table’ and reconnect and celebrate with friends, family and colleagues – and without technology.
Targeted to open in the early spring of 2015, Hopson Grace looks forward to welcoming Canadians who share our passion for beautiful design and craftsmanship and understand how our lives can be enriched by taking time from our frantic schedules to set a beautiful table and celebrate the people and events which make up the fabric of our lives.”
