Many businesses in Florida were forced to lock their doors as Hurricane Irma relentlessly stormed through major cities, including Miami and Fort Myers. As the storm surge caused water to flood the streets, and the forceful winds blew down powerlines and palm trees, Provident Jewelry closed down all seven of their Florida-based locations until power was restored to their showrooms in West Palm Beach, Jupiter, and Wellington.
The 23-year-old jewellery chain announced that their Palm Beach location, as well as their location in Fort Myers and their two locations in Naples, will be closed until it’s safe to reopen.
The aftermath of hurricane Irma has paused many businesses from moving forward, including receiving shipments from overseas, however local repair crews and worldwide foundations are serving to bring Florida back to normalcy.
