Scintillating Sirius Star Diamond is the New Face of the Canadian Gemmological Association
The Canadian Gemmological Association (CGA) announced today that one of the world’s brightest cut diamonds is the new face of the association. The 88 inclined faceted Sirius Star Octagon Diamond from Embee Diamonds will be used in all the new branding for the CGA.
“We are excited because the Sirius Star Octagon represents the very best in diamond cutting worldwide and now it will be used as the new face of our association,” said Donna Hawrelko, President of the CGA.
Regular round brilliant diamonds contain only 58 facets while the Sirius Star boasts 88 facets of scintillation. The masterpiece diamonds are cut in Canada using the latest in diamond cutting technology.
“This partnership with the CGA really showcases excellence in the gem and jewellery business for Canada,” said Mike Botha, President of Embee Diamonds.
