Amazon may buy Net-A-Porter

According to a report from WWD, Amazon is currently in talks to buy London-based luxury e-tailer Net-A-Porter.

Net-A-Porter has been owned by Richemont since 2010. The report also reveals that some analysts have estimated the value of the e-tailer to be between $1.3 billion and $1.64 billion.

This move may come as part of Amazon’s plan to move into the luxury industry as the company has already agreed to sponsor the first-ever Men’s Fashion Week in New York this summer. CJ
