Angela Betteridge was appointed the new Chair of the Canadian Jewellers Association Board of Directors.

The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) held its Annual General Meeting at the Toronto Hilton, where members voted and accepted a new CJA Board of Directors.
The CJA is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela
Betteridge as the new Chair of the Board for 2023-2025.
President of Angela Betteridge Jewellery in Kelowna, B.C., Angela’s career spans all
facets of the industry; from grassroots diamond exploration, diamond mining, sales of
rough and polished diamonds to wholesalers and jewellers, advertising and marketing
and sales staff training, to retail sales and her own jewellery design studio. A former
Brand Manager for BHP Billiton’s Ekati and Aurias brands, and Operations Manager for
De Beers Group’s IIDV division in Manhattan, Angela, specializes in Canadian diamonds,
is a signatory to the Canadian Diamond Code of Conduct, and a Gemological Institute of
America (GIA) Graduate Gemologist.
