The Canadian Jewellery Group (CJG) has raised an astonishing total of $100,000 to date for Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Charities in communities across Canada. The charitable organization provides homes for the families of seriously ill children who are staying at a nearby hospital.

For the last 39 years, the CJG has been gathering in Toronto for its Annual General Meeting and Buying Show. In 2008, the organization began integrating a charitable aspect to their group activities—Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada.

Each year, a silent auction and scrap gold drive, have helped the organization to raise money for RMH.

At the 2016 Annual CJG Gala dinner, Brian VandenDool, former CJG president, delivered a heartwarming presentation to highlight the work of RMH. The presentation highlighted the tremendous impact that this organization has on the lives of families of sick children, a journey that Brian and his family have experienced personally.

According to the group, over $17,500 in donations will be delivered to Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada this holiday season. The money collected from fundraising events will be divided among all 15 Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada.
