Former RCMP joins CJA

The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) has announced the appointment of Kelly Ross, M.A., CAMS, and FCGmA, as a volunteer co-chairman of the Crime Prevention Committee. Ross brings to this role, 24 years of distinguished service as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). During his last 11 years, he led the RCMP Diamond Program, which is responsible for investigating crimes related to the criminal use of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals. Ross is uniquely qualified for this undertaking given his background in law enforcement, combined with his training and experience as a goldsmith and a gemologist.
