Frederick Goldman Luxury Group announces new hires to Scott Kay and Karl Lagerfeld


Frederick Goldman Luxury Group (FGLG) has made new appointments to both Scott Kay and KARL LAGERFELD. This announcement comes directly before the group’s premier at the upcoming JCK/LUXURY shows in Las Vegas.

Mark Taylor is set to join KARL LAGERFELD as its vice-president of sales. With over 25 years of sales and management experience under his belt, Taylor will prove an excellent addition to the team.

“With his proven history of building brands and motivating field sales teams, we look forward to Mark leading the KARL LAGERFELD sales launch,” says Jaime Polk, senior vice-president of sales for FGLG. “Mark has exceptional sales and management skills, along with a deep familiarity with high-end designer brands, which is an invaluable asset. Not only will he be a great addition to KARL LAGERFELD, but to the Frederick Goldman Luxury Group as well.”

Moreover, Chelle McFerran will join Scott Kay as its West Region account executive. Previously, McFerran represented several independent bridal and fine jewellery brands, including Martin Flyer, Sydney Evan and Belle Etoile. Additionally, she has held senior sales positions with several luxury brands such as Damiani, Zenith Watches/LVMH and Baccarat.

In her new role, McFerran will be responsible for all aspects of account management. In the past, she has received great recognition for her sales proficiency and has worked together with top marketing executives to present many successful special events.

Taylor and McFerran will both report directly to Jamie Polk.

Frederick Goldman Luxury Group is the new extension of Frederick Goldman Inc., one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of fine jewellery in North America. The group will officially launch the new KARL LAGERFELD bridal and fine jewellery line during JCK, and will also unveil Scott Kay’s new Embrace collection.
