On April 28, graduates from Georgian College’s Goldsmithing program will be holding an exhibition. The show, entitled “Meraki,” will be travelling across Ontario from April to December of this year.
Throughout this year, each goldsmith has been designing and creating unique pieces of jewellery to showcase at southern Ontario retailers. The show will visit jewellers in Mississauga, Barrie, Port Perry, Midland, and Kingston.
In Greek, “Meraki” is defined as approaching a task with absolute devotion and passion. For this graduating class, this accurately describes the way in which they have spent their year creating this exhibition.
