GIA’s career fair to fill hundreds of job positions

GIA’s New York Jewelry Career Fair will take place on Monday, July 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Javits Center in New York. The event is seen as the jewellery industry’s largest recruiting event, covering areas from design and manufacturing to marketing and sales. Up to 50 of the world’s most renowned and respected gem and jewellery names such as David Yurman, Helzberg Diamonds, New York Loan Company, Paolo Costagli Inc., Sterling Jewelers Inc., and more will be recruiting hundreds of jobs for every levels of career.

There will be one-on-one career coaching offered by recruiters as well as speeches during the opening panel discussion called “Job Success in Today’s Market” to start at 8:30 a.m. Speakers include President and CEO of Cartier North America Mercedes Abramo, Ashley Chan of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers; Luxe Intelligence partner and Women’s Jewelry Association President Andrea Hansen, and more.
