Marking the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR’s two-night stay at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, Holt Renfrew, Canada’s leading fashion and lifestyle retailer, is set to host the ‘RENAISSANCE FLAGSHIP’ at the renowned Bloor Street. The flagship launch coincides with the kick-off of the North American leg of the celebrated RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR headlined by global megastar, Beyoncé.
The RENAISSANCE FLAGSHIP experience will invigorate the third floor of Holt Renfrew’s 50 Bloor Street West store from July 5 to July 11, 2023. This immersive installation, initially envisioned in London, is a Parkwood Entertainment production which lauds the fashion of the RENAISSANCE album, era and tour.
Arriving in Canada, Holt Renfrew steps up as the fashion and lifestyle retail partner for the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR Collection. The flagship showcases a 21-piece curated assortment of unique memorabilia, including never-before-seen apparel and accessories, available for the first time in North America (priced from $25 to $325 CAD).
Exclusively available at the Flagship and Holt Renfrew is the ‘WE SHUT THIS CITY DOWN’ tee, a tribute to the Grammy™ Award-winning artist’s upcoming Toronto takeover, coinciding with the flagship launch. The refreshed RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR collection also features the white ‘ON AIR’ tee with artwork inspired by a tour segment, the ‘GREEN SCREEN HORSE’ long-sleeved tee, the ‘SUMMER RENAISSANCE HOODIE’ with an oversized ‘B’ design, and a playful silver ‘RENAISSANCE COWBOY’ hat. The RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR Art Book, an 80-page exclusive photo collection, is a highlight of the assortment.
The RENAISSANCE FLAGSHIP – Toronto further encompasses a RENAISSANCE COUTURE exhibition by Beyoncé x Balmain. For the first time in North America, a selection of couture looks from this historic collection, co-designed by Beyoncé and Olivier Rousteing, will be exhibited at the flagship. Inspired by the act i: RENAISSANCE album, this debut showing of these remarkable pieces in North America is housed within Holt Renfrew. The collaboration, first unveiled in March by French Vogue, represents the inaugural occasion a Black woman has helmed a couture offering from a historic Parisian house.
Alongside the exhibition is a limited-edition, four-piece product extension named RENAISSANCE Beyoncé with Balmain. This collection, inspired by the exhibited couture pieces at Holt Renfrew, includes two oversized tees, a dropped-shoulder hoodie and a large tote adorned with the collection’s name. These pieces will debut as North American exclusives at Holt Renfrew, available only during the Flagship’s tenure (priced from $200 – $600 CAD).
