A Landmark Announcement: Jewellery Park Near Bengaluru Airport

Setting the tone for a transformational event, Shri M.B. In a statement that electrified the industry, Shri Patil proposed the allocation of land near Bengaluru’s international airport for a dedicated Jewellery Park.

IIJS Tritiya 2025: Bigger, Bolder, and More Tech-Driven Than Ever

Sprawled across three expansive halls (3, 4, and 5) at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), IIJS Tritiya 2025 welcomed:

  • Over 1,100 exhibitors from 50 cities across India
  • 1,900 stalls showcasing the best in traditional and modern jewellery design
  • Concurrent hosting of the India Gem & Jewellery Machinery Expo (IGJME), with 80+ companies across 100 stalls
  • An expected footfall of 15,000+ visitors from 500 cities across India

This year’s edition introduced “The Select Club” — a luxe new feature in Hall 3, spotlighting couture jewellery brands known for exquisite craftsmanship and innovation.

Of particular note was the event’s embracing of technology: from face recognition entry systems and digital badges to 3D interactive floor plans and a revamped IIJS app offering real-time notifications, the visitor experience was streamlined like never before.

Adding further convenience, the newly operational Madavara Metro Station, located adjacent to the venue, provided effortless connectivity for thousands of attendees.

Celebrating Culture: The Brilliant Bharat Theme

Embodying India’s rich cultural diversity, the 2025 show adopted the vibrant theme of “Classical Indian Dance Forms: Rhythms of India”. This cultural homage was beautifully realized through the “Jewels in Motion” segment, where participating exhibitors presented breathtaking collections inspired by classical dance traditions such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, and more.

By weaving artistry with heritage, the Brilliant Bharat theme not only captured imaginations but also reinforced the deep-rooted connection between jewellery and Indian cultural identity.
