Movado Group Inc has appointed Ricardo Quintero as the new president of the company, effective July 14. Quintero has nearly 30 years of experience in brand building, marketing and international expansion. He has leaded high profile global consumer companies such as Clinique by Estée Lauder, where Quintero was a senior vice president and global general manager of market development. He had been with the Estée Lauder Companies since 1999. Previously, Quintero worked in clothing apparel businesses back in his native country of Mexico. He worked for the marketing team of Pepsi Cola Mexicana and Procter & Gamble de México in the earlier stages of his career.
Quintero will be directing the brands attached to the company, and all the marketing and international expansion efforts. He will report to Efraim Grinberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
