Danish jewellery brand Pandora has given Anders Colding Friis the title of CEO as he will be taking over current CEO Allan Leighton from March of next year. Leighton’s position was temporary as he already served as chairman when he took over from Bjorn Gulden as CEO back in July of last year. Gulden has since then moved on to serving as CEO of athletic apparel brand Puma.

Friis has previously worked as the Group CEO of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which is the world’s largest cigar and pipe tobacco manufacturer. Friis also serves as chairman of Monberg & Thorsen, deputy chairman of IC Companys, and board member of Topdanmark and Confederation of Danish Industry.

Other administrative changes include Peder Tuborgh to be chairman of the Pandora board of directors in October, taking over from Marcello Bottoli. Tuborgh has previously worked for international dairy company Arla Foods, and served as deputy chairman of Aarhus University. CJ
