Toronto-based jewellery designer Huntress has teamed up with clothing designer Nicholas K. to premiere at the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in New York on from February 12 to 19.
The new venture will be presented under the name “Huntress X Nicholas X.” Huntress was last seen on the runway of the 2014 MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto and is known for creating very bold and unique jewellery pieces using some of the rarest gemstones in the world.
The gem hunting designers Ron LeBlanc and Diane Robinson behind the Huntress name are also hosts of the Travel Channel series, Gem Hunt. The main inspiration behind the brand is Diana the Huntress, the daughter of Zeus and the sister of Apollo. CJ
