Fashion and jewellery brand Donna Karan has welcomed Caroline Brown as the new CEO, effective January 15. Parent company LVMH has confirmed that Brown, currently serving as president of fashion and fragrance brand Carolina Herrera, will be reporting to Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion group, Pierre-Yves Roussel.
Brown is taking over from Mark Weber, who continues to serve as consultant for the American brand. Brown graduated from Boston University and went on to work for North American clothing manufacturer Bidermann Industries. She was also senior vice president of marketing and communications for Giorgio Armani in the U.S, and also the CEO of Akris before moving on to work at Caroline Herrera. CJ
